Founder, Chief Culture Futurist

Amy brings 20+ years of experience across government, tech, and social impact sectors. A former White House Presidential Innovation Fellow and author of Empathy for Change, she helps teams unlearn inherited norms, build emotional intelligence, and co-create lovable cultures rooted in purpose and clarity.

The Culture Shift Studio was born out of lived experience. after years of working inside systems that valued productivity over people, I hit a wall. I saw firsthand how cultures rooted in fear, burnout, and misalignment erode not just performance, but our sense of purpose and well-being.

In 2018, I took a sabbatical to step back, unlearn, and reconnect to the work I was meant to do. What began as a personal reckoning evolved into a larger vision: to help organizations reimagine how they work, lead, and relate—through empathy, emotional intelligence, and intentional design.

Since then, Culture Shift Studio has helped mission-driven teams uncover hidden patterns, rebuild trust, and co-create cultures that feel not just productive, but deeply human. Cultures people want to grow in, stay in, and believe in.
